*Favorite episode of Joss Whedon!
*The character Anya was only supposed to appear in this episode, but they brought her back for "Dopplegängland." Everyone liked her and loved her humor, so the writers kept bringing her back until she became a series regular.
*This episode is has the first appearance of the phrase "Bored Now."
*Even in this alternate universe, the prophecy from the season one finale still comes true--"The Master will rise and the Slayer will die."
